Job description

We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support a women’s apparel brand.

Location: Northridge, CA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract through January/February 2026
Pay Rate: $21/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, ticketing systems, and Instagram DMs

  • Manage orders, returns, and exchanges through Shopify and AfterShip

  • Track and resolve shipping and fulfillment issues in partnership with the warehouse and operations teams

  • Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs in HappyFox

  • Engage with the brand’s online community using a consistent, on-brand tone

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, e-commerce, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Identify recurring issues and customer feedback trends, escalating insights to leadership to help improve processes

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, ideally within apparel, retail, or e-commerce

  • Experience using Shopify, Instagram, HappyFox, AfterShip, or similar customer service tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously

  • Positive, professional, and proactive attitude with a genuine passion for helping customers
