Denim Designer (Jrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing Juniors/Ladies denim and woven bottoms/tops in line with brand direction and market trends.
- Create detailed flat sketches, CADs, and tech packs for development and production.
- Support in developing fabric, wash, and finish concepts for denim and key wovens.
- Help prepare boards, line sheets, and presentation materials for internal reviews and buyer meetings.
- Maintain design files, libraries, and sample racks; track samples, lab dips, and wash approvals.
- Partner with production, tech design, and merchandising to ensure design intent is executed through fit and construction.
- Research runway, street style, and competitive landscape to contribute trend, silhouette, and detail ideas.
- Assist with fittings, take notes, and update sketches/tech packs based on fit comments.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant design experience in denim
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge of Excel/PLM is a plus.
- Solid sketching skills, eye for proportion, wash, and detail.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple styles and deadlines.
- Willing and able to work onsite 5 days a week.
