A global leader in the collector car and luxury automotive space is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy, campaigns, and execution across a diverse portfolio that includes auctions, private sales, financial services, valuations, and restoration.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a ~10-person marketing and creative team and partnering closely with senior leadership to drive client engagement, new client acquisition, and continued brand leadership at the top of the collector car market. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic instincts, executional rigor, and a genuine passion for automotive culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, print, media, and live events
- Drive brand storytelling, editorial content, and campaigns that support business growth and sales objectives
- Oversee creative direction and ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints
- Manage production of high-end print and digital publications, including catalogs and special projects
- Support marketing execution for global live events
- Manage agency, media, and external creative partnerships
- Use analytics to assess performance, optimize ROI, and refine strategy
- Own the marketing budget and resource allocation
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing in-house marketing and creative team
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility
- Experience within luxury, lifestyle, automotive, auction, or enthusiast-driven brands strongly preferred
- Authentic passion for collector cars and automotive history is required
- Strong editorial judgment, brand sensibility, and communication skills
- Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
- Knowledge of digital platforms, content strategy, SEO, paid media, social, CRM, and analytics
- Familiarity with premium print production and editorial workflows
