We are looking for a dynamic and meticulous Production Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on quality assurance and factory compliance. The perfect candidate will have practical experience with prominent licensed apparel brands and a solid foundation in compliance and product assessment within the apparel industry.
Primary Duties:
- Supervise all facets of garment quality testing, ensuring adherence to internal protocols and major licensor standards (e.g., Disney, Warner Bros., etc.).
- Oversee factory standards compliance, encompassing social responsibility, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with independent testing facilities and certification bodies to organize and monitor product assessments.
- Keep current compliance documentation for all production sites and products.
- Communicate compliance guidelines and testing methods to factories and internal teams.
- Examine and authorize testing outcomes, certifications, and compliance records before production launch.
- Facilitate the onboarding and evaluation of new factories to ensure they satisfy all brand and licensor criteria.
- Collaborate with production, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to address compliance or testing challenges.
- Maintain thorough records in ERP systems to ensure traceability and readiness for audits.
- Contribute to process enhancement projects related to compliance and testing procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in apparel quality testing and factory standards compliance, ideally with major licensed apparel brands, preferably Disney.
- 2+ years experience with A2000 ERP & Centric ideally; other related systems may be ok
- Robust understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, compliance standards, and testing protocols.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high-energy work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of independent testing laboratories and certification procedures.
