We received good news that total compensation rose for a majority of beauty employees, with the median total doubling to 10% from last year’s 5%. As exciting as this is, more than half of respondents are still planning on making a job switch within the next 12 months, and some are already considering an offer. This year’s Beauty survey focused on employee happiness and asked what makes employees, like yourself, happy, what would make them happier, and what some employers are offering to increase the happiness of their employees in the Beauty industry. Only 39% of Beauty employees report being somewhat happy with their job. With less than half of participants saying they are unhappy in their current workplace, what can your employers do to help?
