Our client provides iconic brands the full picture of their influencer marketing programs through industry-leading data and influencer marketing analytics software solutions. They envision a world where brands actively collaborate with their most passionate fans to shape how the world discovers their products. they work with brands, retailers, and agencies across industries—from beauty to entertainment.

Our client is looking for an Account Executive to join their team! The perfect person for this position will have a passion for technology and media, as well as the desire to lead in a fast-changing industry. In addition to generating your own leads, you will be supported by our dedicated outbound and inbound business development representatives, with leads generated from advertising efforts, speaking engagements, and word-of-mouth.

You will drive the relationship and sale from start to finish before passing your new account over to our Client Partner team to nurture and grow. We are looking for mid-market new business salespeople with an SME SaaS sales background and the experience to recognize buying signals and convert prospects with a consultative approach: listening and understanding where our company can help their business, coupled with negotiating and closing skills and experience.

You will be answering technical questions and handling objections, so while a background in influencer marketing is not essential, an awareness of its principles is beneficial.

 

Responsibilities: 

. Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the company's platform features, industry, pricing plans, and service portfolio

. Generate and identify new sales opportunities using multiple outbound channels and strategies

. Develop a deep understanding of prospects objectives and challenges and deliver the company's solution against these elements

. Respond to prospects briefs including RFIs and RFPs

. Conduct a consistently high volume of booked product demonstrations or discovery meetings with fully qualified prospects

. Build and manage an active pipeline through the sales cycle to deal close

. Deliver against monthly sales targets and pipeline commitments, track all your activity in our CRM and related tools

. Continually develop your influencer marketing industry knowledge and demonstrate commercial understanding

 

About you:

. 2+ years of proven success in a target-driven new business sales role—meeting and exceeding sales quota in a team-based environment

. Experience selling digital technology and service solutions (bonus points for Influencer Marketing, MarTech, or AdTech SaaS vendors!)

. Demonstrated experience partnering with internal marketing, inside sales, sales engineering, channel managers, and client/professional service teams to close new business

. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills Strong phone sales, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

. Formal sales training is a plus

. A background in retail or fashion is desirable
