Job description

Our client is looking for a full-time Account Manager to support the Sales Team working with specialty accounts, clubs, and discounters. This position will report to the Senior Account Executive (SAE) for these accounts and will be their right-hand person on all selling initiatives. The candidate must be able to work independently, drive the internal processes, be comfortable managing-up, and be assertive in a respectful manner.

• Know the complete process of each of your customers
• Know and maintain calendars for each of your customers
• Interface and communicate directly with customers
• Work closely with Development, Design, Sourcing and Production departments to ensure timely processing of all requests
• Prepare sales materials for account presentations and meetings (ex: merchandising pages, sales history, trend pages, organize sales showroom, snacks, etc.)
• Manage incoming account artwork requests from customers with Design department
• Submit all costing requests to Product Development
• Complete and submit customer costing forms to customer (where applicable)
• Review POs from customers to ensure all details are accurate (ex: price, delivery, style name, style number, color, quantity)
• Create, complete, and manage internal production buy sheets
• Support the SAE to maximize sales of their current accounts
• Manage the process and timing of shipping sample lines to accounts as needed
• Assist SAE in building sales reports
• Assist SAE with additional projects as assigned

• Strong written communication is a must since this position communicates daily with accounts
• Self-motivated, independent worker and highly focused
• Willing and able to perform many different tasks required in a fast-moving environment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a wholesale sales environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and following through with all tasks in a timely manner
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft office.
• Domestic travel on occasion
