Account Manager
Contract: August-December
Account Manager Overview:
The Account Manager is self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities at once. A problem solver who can plan and prioritize while nurturing relationships with clients and colleagues.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Serves as the day-to-day client contact, across multiple clients/accounts in a fast-paced atmosphere; workload prioritization skills are essential
- Manages the production of client deliverables including reports, annual account reviews, campaign/project recommendations, and editorial content strategy, and ensures alignment with the client’s brand
- Balances daily client requests to ensure on-time delivery of projects that align with client goals and vision
- Schedules client meetings, develops meeting agendas, distributes conference notes, and communicates the status of initiatives to relevant internal and client stakeholders
- Coordinates client input/feedback and shares feedback with internal teams
- Oversees and runs team status meetings to align the internal team on priorities and goals of the meeting/projects
- Goes above and beyond to nurture client relationships throughout the year
- Must be able to identify when there is a potential client issue and bring it to the leadership team in order to problem solve and address and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Passionately curious about understanding the client’s business and providing new ideas and innovative solutions
- Ability to distill project/creative strategy and insights into a clearly articulated creative/strategic brief
- Makes recommendations year-round to the Director of Strategy for new opportunities to expand and grow the client brand and exceed goals
- Drives the execution of approved plans from start to finish, including ownership of project briefing, project progress, and ultimate delivery of project and assets on time and on budget
- Consult and collaborate with teams to develop the best solutions for individual programs and campaigns
- Ensure the timely handoff and presentation of project plans, timelines, and deliverables to the client and team
- Responsible for managing and seeing through all client deliverables and requests
- Accurately proofread and QA all deliverables being sent to the client for approval and ultimately published/printed/launched
- Perform “look-back” analysis on campaigns and programs, as needed Business
- Keep accurate records of campaigns and campaign performance
- Track project hours based on scope of work
- Look for new opportunities with existing clients - make recommendations year-round as they arise
- Compile project details and insights for case studies and award entries, as needed
