Allocation Specialist Overview:The Allocation Specialist supports Omni-Channel sales through executing merchandise allocation strategies and store cluster vendor/class assortment recommendations. The Allocation Specialist will have deep understanding of JDA Allocation System in order to inform refinement that supports business needs. The specialist will partner with the Director of Allocations in analyzing allocation performance in order to drive top line sales. You'll collaborate with the Merchandising team to gain deeper understanding of merchandise strategies in order to optimize allocations that support the business needs. The specialist will also partner with the Merchant teams to quantify min/max need by category at location/cluster.
Allocation Specialist Role and Responsibilities:
• Builds out seasonal size scales by department based on business needs
• Evolve and Manage productivity file at department by category/supplier
• Responsible for effectively communicating business needs to India Allocators based on buying team intent
• Manage Supplier/Cluster Matrix by department for each season • This role will analyze performance by location/cluster to optimize allocation results.
• Ensure allocations are in alignment with the Seasonal Calendar and effectively execute Sell Off Allocation in JDA.
• Responsible for sell off inventory allocation

• Experience in buying, planning or allocation
• Fundamental understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management
• Financial acumen
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
