Our client is a leading global beauty company that designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes prestige fragrances, they are looking for a new Amazon Luxury Business Manager to join their team.
Amazon Luxury Business Manager Position Brief:
The Amazon Luxury Business Manager must have a minimum of 3 years experience managing Amazon platform and working directly with digital agencies. Candidate must possess a deep understanding of Vendor Central and all critical Amazon Luxury KPIs.
Candidate must be highly self-motivated and driven to further develop, enhance and profitably grow the brand portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
Product: Catalog Set-up and Maintenance:
- New Item set up, including pre-order capabilities
- Vine (customer reviews program) prep + setup for new launches
- Conduct bi-weekly screening process on the entire catalog
- Identify and address any issues immediately and expand cross selling opportunities (i.e. link
fragrance ASINs to license partner brand shops as feasible)
- Look for assortment opportunities (any missing sizes and or ASINs that are top sellers in US
department stores)
- Catalog maintenance/upkeep with price update, item availability, remove discontinued items
Placement:
- Ensure all product detail pages have strong A+ content
- Evaluate all marketing opportunities for viability based on boost and incremental sales or other merchandising opportunities surfaced through Amazon
- Monitor star ratings and manage participation in Amazon Vine program to increase rating
quantity and quality
- Amazon Banner placements - provide banner assets within Amazon deadlines/specs –
coordinate with in house creative/marketing team
- Amazon posts - similar to a social media feed - coordinate with internal Social team in reutilizing approved + curated IG social posts to Amazon
Promotions:
- Strategically plan and set up vendor funded Deal of The Day, Lightning Deals etc. in Vendor
Central to drive profitable growth
- For brands that have already cascaded into other tiers of distribution (off-price and mass) run on-going deals of the day to align pricing with the competitors.
- Evaluate and recommend on New product launches strategies (i.e. sampling program)
- Amazon Vendor Central management
- Timely setup of seasonal promotional offerings
- Create and analyze promotional reporting and proactive and timely course
corrections
- Amazon ARA Premium – use data visibility on promotional activity, customer
insight, sales, traffic
Digital Agency:
- Establish strong relationship with all key players at Digital Agency
- Actively participate in weekly calls to review ROAS monthly budgets and optimization strategies
- Proactively ensure that all A+ content brand shops are current
- Determine and initiate work hour priorities
- Closely monitor and provide recommendations based on Order Revenue
Finance/Administration:
- Monday check POs, EDI processing, Open Orders / Invoices, coordinate with operations team on item reserves
- Review weekly performance reports and make suggestions to improve the business based on KPI performance
- Proactively update seasonal reserve forecasts
- Meet regularly with Amazon Luxury Beauty Vendor Representative and Amazon Marketing
Representative and to understand how we can grow and maximize the business
- Monitor, approve any necessary dispute on Amazon chargebacks.
- Bulk Orders – discuss with VP which items are to setup + approval for bulk orders
Position Requirements:
- Familiarity with the Amazon portals especially the reporting and analysis tools contained within the Vendor Central platform
- Product knowledge to facilitate item set up and catalog management
- Understanding of eComm, content management, digital marketing
- Understanding of trade promotions and how to execute and measure results
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing Amazon
- MUST have Amazon VENDOR Central experience
- Experience in fragrances, beauty, candy, or jewelry
- Experience with Ecom content management, or digital marketing, this is NOT a sales role
