Job description

The Analyst at a top NYC ad agency will function as an expert in marketing performance and data integrity by evaluating and analyzing datasets across multiple sources, creating compelling stories for our clients and internal leadership teams. This person will work alongside our Senior Analyst.

Working with our Group Director of Analytics, you will:
• Establish and execute media measurement campaigns across digital media campaigns (programmatic and direct buys), paid search campaigns, and traditional media campaigns
• Work closely with the Ad Ops team to ensure proper technical measurement is in place (conversion pixels, web analytics coding)
• Report on creative A/B testing, with an emphasis on confirming statistical significance
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance through regularly scheduled client dashboards along with ad hoc client requests
• Support the integrated media teams through optimization discovery and data-based planning and insight
• Develop intelligent and compelling client presentations, ranging from campaign wrap-up reports to POVs on emerging technologies in the analytics and business intelligence space
• Occasionally loan your analytics expertise and research on new business pitches

The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience at an ad agency or digital media partner
• Determination in finding innovative measurement solutions to observe consumer behavior
• Strong understanding of online measurement and tracking
• The ability to collect, analyze, cleanse and combine data from multiple sources into a cohesive set
• The skill to transform complex and abstract themes into easily digestible presentations for both internal and client use
• Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel
• A general understanding of the Ad Tech landscape (DSPs, DMPs, CMPs, and Data Privacy Laws like CCPA, IDFA, or GDPR)
• Knowledge of Dashboarding tools like Datorama, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Power BI or Looker
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
