ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the creative director and working hand in hand with our content strategist, you will be responsible for owning the visual appearance of the company’s direct-response marketing material. Blending art and science, each project you touch will be part pure aesthetic and part strategic marketing. From paid digital to OOH, you’re equally confident envisioning multiple edits for a 15” Instagram video or designing 25-foot static ads on a fleet of delivery trucks.

Your background in user acquisition and performance marketing allows you to speak the language of data, and interpret creative results with the intention of improving specific metrics. You have a deep understanding of what works in direct response on various social media platforms as well as what it takes to blend a brand voice into the equation.

Stylistically, you’re inspired to create a wide variety of work that experiments with aesthetic choices with the end-goal of improving performance. You have a test-and-learn mindset, curious to see how creative choices impact ad performance and you understand when and where to take big creative swings and when to make small adjustments.

SPECIFICALLY, YOU WILL:

Transform creative briefs into fully formed direct-response ads catered to various user personas across multiple media channels
Explore infinite possibilities relating to aesthetic and stylistic choices, utilizing the full range of approaches available within a user acquisition focused mindset
Craft production-ready storyboards for hand-off to external production and internal editing teams
Own static ad production across paid social and OOH
Design graphics for video editing team
Design sign-up and landing pages for desktop and mobile web-flow while interfacing with product designers regularly to maintain cross-functional cohesiveness
Iterate on existing ideas and projects to finely tune creative output for optimal results, pertaining to specific channels and platforms
Establish project workflows for delivering multiple variations on a single concept
Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while constantly tracking to target completion date
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to envision multiple variations, versions, or options of a given concept into a wide range of visual interpretations
Wizard with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Experience in After-Effects or motion design a plus
Excellent time management skills with the ability to understand project scope and accurately assess resources
Strong project management skills
Ability to express ideas clearly and communicate well with others
Clear understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat, and TikTok with ability to tweak one set of raw assets many different ways to best fit each platform's audience
Command of direct-response best practices and ability to interpret data to iterate and increase performance

5+ years experience working on professional-grade content for User Acquisition or Direct Marketing team
