Our client, a leading accessories and apparel brand, is looking for an Art Director. As an Art Director, you exist to help bring our brand to life through next-level design and visual storytelling and to be an effective leader within our Creative department. The Art Director will support our Full Funnel Marketing strategy and ensure that we create meaningful connections with our consumers.

About Primary Responsibilities:
Drive performance that delivers excellence in a way that preserves and enhances our ability to get results in the future.
Manage Creative teams by creating a collaborative environment where all members thrive (no silos).
Support team in producing consistent strategic visual solutions and content that enhance our unique brand ethos and aesthetic across a variety of media channels and brand touchpoints (including social, print, in-store, digital, experiential).
Organize, prioritize, and delegate projects and responsibilities within the team, provide clear direction and ensure strong communication with all stakeholders.
Direct multiple creative projects simultaneously, partnering with our Marketing GTM leads to ensure deadlines and budgets will be met.
Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience to effectively develop breakthrough campaigns that help Stance achieve our overarching business goals.
Partner with VP of Creative and Senior Copywriter in developing breakthrough Brand campaigns that put/keep Stance in today’s cultural and social zeitgeist.
Partner with external creative partners (photography, videography, media agency) to develop best-in-class content.
Design & Storytelling:
Lead creative concepting and development for Stance in-line and evergreen creative campaigns and asset development for all channels (Digital, Email, Retail, Performance Marketing, Direct Mail).
Lead creative concepting and development for Stance collaborations and partnerships campaigns and asset development for all channels. Support Business Development team in creating compelling content for social and digital channels.
Champion breakthrough design and high-quality production and layout.
Produce storyboards, sketches, tears to visualize ideas and galvanize broader team around creative concepts.
Take a leading role in photography and video shoots as they arise.
Bachelor degree or higher in Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 8 years creative experience in art direction, design, digital with agency and brand.
At least 3 years management experience across internal and external resources.
Experienced in developing coordinated marketing and creative strategies.
Expert-level knowledge of current trends in color, technology, communications, experience, and design influences.
Expert in art direction and production, visual design.
Expert storyteller and able to present and sell-in creative concepts and execution ideas with senior leaders and partners.
Have a data-informed, creatively driven, and digital-first approach.
Fluent in the digital social landscape.
A strong understanding of the Gen Z youth culture and consumer behavior.
Skills include: (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.)
Ability to unite, drive and lead cross-functional creative teams.
Expert knowledge in product lead storytelling and execution
Comply with company branding standards.
Knowledge of Final Cut and After Effects a plus
