Social Media Art Director will focus efforts on social media asset creation with a strategic purpose. Utilizing photography, videography and strong graphic design talent to create content that aligns with client’s social media strategy, brand voice, guidelines & color story.
Essential Job Functions
Create social content concept integrating trends, style and strategy. Content produced for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
Highly skilled in graphic design for social content specifically, i.e. Graphic sayings, story-graphics etc.
Proactive in bringing new ideas to the forefront and on top of new social media trends, strategy and ways to evolve our social media.
Collaborate with Social Media Account manager & client’s social team to ensure the timely production of all social creative assets.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience in design, content creation, social media or marketing.
Minimum of 2-4 years social media content creation experience.
Portfolio of work that could include photography, videography, story design for with a large emphasis on graphic design for social media.
Strategic and creative thinker with a creative/artistic eye.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Detail oriented, team player.
Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop, Lightroom and Premier and After Effects. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs a plus.
Must have hand-drawing skills and be proficient in Procreate or similar digital illustration program.
