Job description

The  Associate Design Director will lead and manage their small team of talented digital designers. This role will work collaboratively with UX, Content Studio, Tech, and PMO teams to establish the visual identity and vision for their clients, from conceptual ideation through implementation and ongoing design management.

  • Strong design portfolio of live, digital-based work 8+ years of experience (1+ creative leadership preferred)
  • Demonstrates a user-centered approach to design with a mind for process
  • Bold leadership skills, confident in team building, mentoring and guiding talent
  • Experience attracting and hiring design talent
  • Comfortable juggling a wide range of responsibilities at the same time
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, with a natural ability to clearly articulate ideas
  • Understanding of digital landscape, social platforms, and technology trends
  • In tune with contemporary design, internet and youth culture trends
  • Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or Sketch
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS systems
  • Comfortable working with 3rd party integrations and APIs
  • Knowledge and experience in brand identity strongly preferred
