Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the global category strategy and promotional product pipeline to identify opportunities that will successfully meet the growth objectives for the brand
  • Serve as category expert through ongoing analysis, industry trends, and knowledge of category dynamics and competition
  • Prepare creative briefs for all programs (including design, copy, packaging and PDP assets) and coordinate communication with Creative team
  • Lead development of innovative promotional programs that support the overall strategic vision and category objectives, while meeting all regional & channel needs
  • Manage strong partnerships with NPD, Packaging and other cross functional partners including Creative, Copy, PR, Education to ensure on time execution
  • Collaborate closely with US and International Marketing teams to deliver on commercial needs and drive global alignment
  • Assist with development of 360 go-to-market strategies and tactics to support new launches
  • Prepare presentation decks to support strategic planning and retailer presentations
  • Prepare new launch forecast offerings for monthly global marketing meetings
  • Manage and develop Coordinator
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in cosmetics/beauty
  • A passionate, energetic team-oriented individual with strong project management, analytical, interpersonal and creative skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • A strong sense of urgency and agility, with the ability to manage details and projects while proactively responding to changing priorities and feedback
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams in a fast moving/changing environment
  • Ability to build, foster, and nurture strong relationships and gain the trust and respect of cross-functional teams stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen with COGS/gross margin management
