Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Create and update tech packs for development through production, containing detailed product specification instructions and construction for development and production resources that are consistently clear and accurate
• Linesheet creation/updates to share with cross functional teams
• Sketching/coloring Illustrator cads for linesheets and tech packs
• Build detailed wash pages for tech packs
• Correspondence with factories to maintain on time sample delivery
• Tech pack release to factories via email and PLM system
• Prep tech packs for production hand off and garment construction
• Check in, hang and organize all incoming samples
• Manage and organize sample libraries and wash standards on consistent basis
• Ensure maintenance of designs in PLM: bom’s, construction, wash pages ect.
• Maintains organized design records for team reference
• Trim research/development/sourcing for designer
• Update development/sample status each week and update team
• Provide wash, styling, trim comments to factories/send reference samples
• Trend research & concept development
• Produce design sketches for new product
• Research new wash and design inspiration to develop
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience with design and/or technical design knowledge in mass market denim preferred
• Bachelor or AA Degree in Fashion Design
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player with problem solving approach
• Highly detailed, works well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accurate work
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly and excel in follow up
• Proficient in Yunique PLM or similar tech pack software
• Highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator and technical sketching
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Browzwear 3D software knowledge a plus
