24 Seven is partnering with their lifestyle apparel and footwear client to find them an Associate Product Line Manager to join their team in this full-time, salaried position. This role is located in the Santa Barbara, CA area, so ideally they would work with someone who will relocate (they can help with relo) or is within driving distance and willing to travel to their office 1-2 times/month. Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of related experience (retail, product line management, merchandising, product development or apparel/footwear design)

Your Impact 
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
-Product lifecycle management: assist with strategy for merchandise line plan; research existing global business; ensure MFO product opportunities align with inline; utilize inline research and analysis of market trends; build the product line to support objectives of the MFO channel to meet financial goals.
-Present the line to internal audiences at key seasonal milestone meetings.
-Understand how to present product and merchandising stories and key selling features in a compelling way that ensures internal adoption of the seasonal line direction.
-Be the expert on the category for any questions. Understand how to address and manage feedback from the audience in a collaborative manner.
-Makes recommendations for overall strategy for the product line using inputs from regional briefs, trend, sales history & market research.
-Analyze global performance creating briefs with end user product feature/benefit and cost structure.
-Work directly with global product creation team in assuring product cost and integrity exists in the collections to build an accurate range plan that optimizes sku efficiency.
-Works with global product creation team to ensure product segment is in line with brand DNA. Under direction of senior product management leadership, creates merchandising stories around color, materials to ensure product flow.
-Work with design, development, and global merchant teams to create best-in-class product and manage the global product line through full life cycle.

-Experience designing and delivering compelling presentations for small and large audiences.

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4 - 6 years of related experience (retail, product line management, merchandising, product development & design)
-Strategic thinking capability; ability to see the big-picture and communicate an impactful vision
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Organizational skills with experience supporting in the management of complex projects, critical paths/timelines.
-Exceptional attention to detail.
