Job description

The Associate Project Manager is a key player who executes the daily ongoing tasks toward a completion of a project or multiple projects (jobs/clients). Serves as a key liaison with the clients and reviews the deliverables prepared by the team before passing onto the client(s). Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; conferring with management. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases.


Essential Functions:
• Confirms project performance
• Determines and maintains project schedule
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information trends
• Maintains safe and clean working environments by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Prepare document distributions to subcontractors
• Attend and document project meetings
• Review and transmit submittals
• Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
• Prepare and document extra work orders
• Compile contract close out documents
• Document punch list work
• Plans management and printing
• Field Progress Forms/Field Progress Report tracking
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
• HS Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in managing construction projects or BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience in related position and industry (3-5 years).
• Experience in Residential Plumbing/Mechanical projects is an advantage
• Project Management Institute CAPM or PMPM preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Intermediate level
• Working knowledge of AutoCad skills is a plus
• Understanding of Procore, Plan Grid or Blue Beam is a plus
• Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision
• Excellent communication and group presentation skills
