They can sit out of any state we operate out of for as long as we’re remote, or if this just remains a contractor.

Long term the plan is for this position to be hybrid meaning spending partial time in office, so if they are someone hoping to be converted they’ll need to be local to western WA.
 

Client Overview: Our client is a distributer of Apparel and accessory, based in Washington state.

Position Overview: The Associate Site Merchandiser assists in the growth of online business by analyzing and utilizing merchandising techniques to enhance web content strategy.  This role strives to ensure the customer experience is optimized via seasonal campaigns, content execution and navigation on both company and branded sites and supports customer ambitions as well as provides information unique to our business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize website via content management and analysis of business metrics.
  • Content creation on company and branded websites via various marketing tools and ensure content is accurate.
  • Partner with IT, Merchandising, Integrated Marketing, Creative and Project Management Teams to ensure that all campaigns and resources are set up accurately, meet deadlines and are maintained appropriately.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend new ideas to enhance online customer experience.
  • Assist in process improvements to increase productivity and flow.  
  • Test and QA content assets upon receipt.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience launching and/or maintaining content on complex large-scale sites.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, CMS, CRM, SmartEdit and marketing enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of online marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to make basic changes and understand HTML. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising
  • Experience within apparel industry preferred, B2B experience is a plus
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research preferred
