A popular skincare line is looking for a Buyer/Planner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily planning of materials
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage supply chain
- Coordinate with stakeholders to estimate completion and any project updates
- Stay on top of changes in demand and forecast to make appropriate adjustments in procurement settings
- Place inventory POs and business demand and forecast
- Minimize risk of stock out in production and packaging
- Improve on-time delivery, inventory turns, and minimizing expired product
- Negotiate to maximize value and cost savings
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 +yrs experience within Buying/ Planning
- Experience directly managing purchasing resources preferred
- Experience working with contract manufacturers/suppliers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and manage projects
- Ability to develop, enable, and drive execution of key internal and external business strategies
