24 Seven is partnering with our sportswear client to find them a Catalyst Operations Manager to join their team in this long term contract. This role does offer benefits. The candidate will need to be located in the Portland Metro Area to partake in the hybrid work model. Brief details are below.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Manager, Consumer Creation Operations, you will drive accountability and consistency of process, tools, results, and communication across an entire function, with a focus on simplification. You will have a close connection to process & partners across multiple business units, product engines and functions. You ask good questions and are continually learning as well as finding opportunities to share your knowledge. 

We need a forward-thinking individual, energized by complex and highly cross-functional projects. Our best Operations Managers are strategic thinkers and excellent communicators with an aptitude for inspiring change! They understand how our consumer shops, behaves, and engages with our brand, helping to build new processes and ways of working that allow our teams to deliver consumer-led line, and assortments.

These are unique operations roles centered around driving future ways of working for our Consumer Creation community. Leading with a digital mindset, you will engage the Global Consumer Creation community on critical initiatives and projects on behalf of the function to bring our growth strategies to life and you will be the hub to connect with cross functional operational partners to drive process innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

On any given day you might be conducting workshops or meetings, either virtual or in-person, to capture insights and assist in the designing of future processes and capabilities to bring speed, efficiency, and simplicity to life. You will create strategies to bring all partners into alignment and adoption of these new processes and capabilities.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You must work across a diverse group of functions including Product Management, Design, Development, Merchandising and Marketplace to deliver impact at scale. You will focus on our internal customers to find opportunities for improvement while also engaging with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth integration with enterprise-wide dependencies. You will be a strong collaborator with CCO and department leaders as you influence and drive the standardization of best practices, create awareness to imbalance in workload or tools, and oversee timely completion of department deliverables. Your daily connections will span across the entire product creation matrix at all levels.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of professional work experience in merchandising, management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or a related field (3+ years of work experience with an MBA).

• Proven ability to partner on cross—functional teams supporting large scale change across an organization.

• Passionate about processes potential for improving planning, execution, and work/life balance

• Excellent problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills.

• Compelling, high-impact storyteller with the ability to influence at multiple levels throughout the organization.

• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.

• Knowledge of product creation, design thinking and merchandising strongly preferred

• Strong experience with digital tools and demonstrated digital approach
