My client, a leader in the Consumer Electronics industry, is looking for a contract Channel Marketing Manager for 6-8 months with potential to extend long term. This is offsite right now but will eventually be onsite in LA.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities may include:
• Work into the Consumer Electronics Product Marketing Lead to manage global channel marketing needs to support OEM partners, digital retailers, and media partners
• You’ll develop messaging, manage production of creative and deploy materials to internal and external partners; includes digital content, assets/copy for digital retail pages, digital advertising, print creative, video assets, and more.
• You’ll work closely with marketing leads from local geo teams around the globe to help drive creation of marketing materials for their specific geo needs, working directly with our in-house creative team in the US and ensuring it’s aligned with global brand / strategy
• You’ll help manage content needs for channel marketing including approved messaging, imagery, and videos
• You’ll manage internal product manager and marketing stakeholders to develop and deliver campaign assets and programs
• Collaborate with Brand and Product Marketing teams to deploy full funnel campaign deliverables
• Drive pro-active and consistent communication about Marketing initiatives, materials and messaging with marketing, sales, and product teams globally A successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Comfortable working across matrixed organization with proven ability to work with teams in different geos (EMEA, LATAM, APAC, PRC)
• Demonstrated experience influencing multiple stakeholders to define and achieve key objectives and execute marketing strategies
• Experience working with creative teams
• Experience working with Consumer Electronics partners, or on an ingredient brand is preferred
• Strong organization & communication skills
• Self-starter, problem solver
• Fluent in PowerPoint, Excel & Microsoft Office Skills Preferred Qualifications
• 2-3 years’ experience managing marketing campaigns (preferably on a global scale) including project management, directing cross functional teams and turning strategy into creative deliverables
• Expertise in retail/channel marketing a strong plus
• Some agency experience is preferred, but not required
• Experience working on consumer electronics is preferred
