Chief Growth Marketer

Full-Time, Salaried Position

Now is your chance to work with this growing team. You will be in charge of developing marketing and growth strategies to acquire NEW customers (they have an amazing retention rate with current customers right now and have a majority of repeat sales) and building out their marketing team. You must be okay with rolling up your sleeves and doing the execution until the team is completely built out.

Role:

We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years of experience leading marketing growth initiatives for eCommerce/Startups. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the 40-100MM range. As an inspirational and fast-growing start-up, we are focused on changing women's lives by helping them regain their confidence with their complexions through natural-based skincare products.

 Primary Responsibilities

•             Grow D2C Sales while maintaining profitability among online and offline channels through paid ads, influencers, ambassadors, email and other growth mediums.

•             Develop and contribute to the 2022 strategic plan creating a cohesive approach that syncs with sales and other departments.

•             Develop marketing strategies on current product offerings and develop new product launch strategies.

•             Manage Social, Offline Advertising, Search, Display, YouTube, and Amazon campaigns.

•             Lead, manage and assess international expansion through paid media. 

•             Manage and direct a team to produce high performing creative assets for performance marketing led channels.

•             Optimize media spending around revenue and CAC, focusing on data-driven metrics.

•             Build and develop an A-player marketing team in line with growth strategies including personal development, team building, and trust.

•             Lead weekly and monthly internal meetings with strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

•             Prepare reports, analytics, and insights sharing ad performance and strategy on future tests.

•             Work closely with the creative team on developing a cohesive customer journey from website, email campaigns, client services, product development, and sales.

•             Constant growth hacking delving into A/B tests, trends, CRO, competition, and advertising channels opportunities and relaying data and intelligence  to the team to stay ahead and to develop relevant strategies.

•             Develop and increase LTV and customer satisfaction through retention techniques, strategies, and loyalty initiatives.  

•             Develop and work closely with the data science and/or optimization teams to increase growth metrics like CPA, CTR, AOV, LTV, and ROAS.

Skills

•             Exceptional communicator and diverse leadership in managing a growing team

•             Strong media buying experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, PPC

•             Strong experience in Google Analytics and other measurement tools

•             Experience with offline channels like direct mail, podcasts, affiliates, magazines, billboards, radio, and tv.

•             Passionate about improving the customer journey, building brands, and compelling storytelling.

•             A desire to push the boundaries of brand experience to build relevance and excitement

•             Deep familiarity and understanding of ideal CAC, CPM, CTR, CPA, CVR, LTV, and ROAS

•             Excellent communication, team building skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, product development, and customer service. 

•             Strong understanding in conversion principles including advertising copy, visuals, customer journey.

•             Strong understanding in customer retention management

•             Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level; ideate and directly execute as the role dictates.

•             Ability to work effectively under pressure, within tight deadlines, and to be agile in keeping constant to the market demands.

 

Education and/or Certifications

•             Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (preferred)

•             7+ years’ experience driving & executing best-in-class strategic and creative growth and marketing work with heavy focus on online channels.
