Job description

Our client, a direct marketing agency, is looking to add a Client Strategy Specialist to their team for a full time, on-site permanent position.  The Client Strategy Specialist plays a critical account-focused role within the business development of the organization. They work closely with account leadership to drive and support account strategy execution, client relationship management, high performance teaming and strategic sales and go-to-market activity.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist as the lead point of contact for matters specific to your clients.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive client contacts.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Forecast and track key metrics.
• Prepare reports on account status.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding in customer success techniques and strategies.
• Comfortable learning new software (for design, data management, and internal tools).
• Experience navigating complex work processes, tight timelines, and changing teams.
• Extremely detail oriented and organized.
• A self-starter, who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with flexibility, growth and change.
• Creative and collaborative problem solver with a demonstrated open-minded approach to identifying solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and execute on ideas.
• MS Office skills – Excel analysis, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize against core objectives to meet deadlines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• One to three years of experience, which may include large-agency interactive or client-side marketing experience focusing on strategy and innovation
• Experience with various marketing channels.
