Job description

The Manager, Sales Communication is responsible for serving as liaison between Marketing and Sales providing a single nucleus of communication for extensive sales directive across three separate portfolios of brands inclusive of Cosmetics, Skincare & Fragrance. This position plays a significant role in establishing and leading the smooth channels of communication and information flow between internal departments, as well as external partners as necessary.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 
Key deliverables include weekly and monthly recaps of BPG current and upcoming activation, bringing Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Visual Merchandising, and relevant updates to Sell In and Sell Thru teams
Manage and prioritize communication flow to Sales teams, incorporating “best practices” and other learnings by interfacing extensively with internal counterparts in marketing, sales development and sales departments
Collaborate internally with key cross-functional teams to develop ways of supporting sales to achieve business targets
Develop communication strategies and implement weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Information newsletter updates and key execution metrics by channel and geography to sales team
Support initiative to improve process and documentation workflow between internal teams.
Support Sell In and Sell Thru teams to help drive sales growth in maintain doors
Work towards developing efficient and effective method of sharing information to sales teams in an accessible method for remote locations. This may include internal IT as well as external vendors as needed
Supervise daily activities and growth of direct report, Coordinator, Sales Communication
Support EVP, Sales in internal meeting presentation materials

Qualifications & Competencies:
5 plus years of Fragrance/Cosmetics/Skincare industry experience
Bachelors in Business/Management preferred
Entrepreneurial spirit, solution oriented
Prestige and Department store beauty experience desired
Proficient in MS Office including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PPT
Exhibits strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision making skills
Requires strong oral and written communication skills with both internal and external teams
Have facility to identify, prioritize, and adjust to multiple needs
Must be able to create winning partnerships with all internal teams
Team player with high energy, proactive
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Displays sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure and with fluctuating deadlines
Approximate travel to markets as necessary
