The Company's Field Engagement and Learning team is looking for a Daily Communications Editor for our rapidly evolving internal Retail Communications team. You will join us at a time when we are designing the future of internal communications for our Retail Store, Contact Center, and Global Retail Support employees. Driven by a new daily editorial news platform and a mission to create interactive, dynamic meetings and events, our work is becoming more intuitive, responsive, and relevant to the needs of the business and how our audience consumes and experiences content. The primary responsibility of the Daily Communications Editor is to produce clear, wellwritten communications under tight, daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are well-organized, can manage several projects at a time, have a strong eye for detail, and the business acumen to inform and influence communication strategies across the business. In this role, you'll support communications that ensure our store and contact center teams are well-informed and prepared to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. To do this, you’ll work with multiple business partners to produce concise, thoughtful, smart, and creatively driven communication for various roles and regions. In addition to producing high quality content that resonates with our audience, you’ll also help us reduce content overall, knowing that sometimes less is more. And as a member of a high-functioning and supportive team, you’ll offer edits and writing assistance to your teammates, help build out an operational planning process, analyze content metrics and influence editorial standards. And you may be asked to participate in a robust debate over which cereal or television sitcom is the best.

Key Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in digital media, working in a writer or editor capacity

• Deep understanding of how a digital news desk functions

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects

• Excellent partner management skills

• Solid understanding and grounding in U.S. English style, usage, grammar, and punctuation

• Familiar with Company style and usage guides

• Tech-savvy, familiarity with OS and iOS, web-publishing systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work as a member of a team, and ability to maintain positivity and composure under pressure

• Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to maintain focus and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working with international teams, and demonstrated empathy for regional needs and preferences
