About the Job
As the Copywriter, your primary role will be creating persuasive written marketing and digital advertising materials. You can express the written word via scripts, headlines, manifestos, long copy with efficiency and impact. More importantly, you transform complex ideas into simple and memorable pieces of content. Above all else, the Copywriter thinks about copy systematically, and has a strong understanding of messaging hierarchy in order to communicate the right message, to the right audience, at the right time.
Responsibilities:
• Concept and execute headlines, taglines, treatments, scripts, site copy, advertising, and long copy
• Organize and edit existing content
• Write clear, concise, and creative copy
Requirements & General Skills:
• Proven ability to write engaging and persuasive copy for advertising, ad agency experience a plus
• A creative portfolio that demonstrates experience with traditional, digital, social and ‘on-the-horizon’ mediums
• Experience with SEO
• Outstanding collaboration skills with the desire, passion, and patience to work cross-functionally
• Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to self-motivate and manage multiple project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with proofreading and editing skills
• 5+ years experience in advertising writing
