Our client is an agency with twenty years of experience. They are the partner of choice for some of the world's most iconic brands, and helped multiple startups and smaller brands find their voices. They combine global resources with small-shop agility.

About the job
We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our creative team in New York City to help us create smart, engaging and ultimately, award winning content. You’ll be working as part of an art director/copywriter team to craft content for a range of brands and collaborate with the broader creative team to develop original concepts for digital, print, radio, TV and experiential platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Manage conception and execution of content across traditional, digital, experiential and social platforms.

- Perform basic proofing/editing on all copy, with a strong attention to details.
An understanding of variations in brand tone and voice and the ability to ensure that copy is aligned with each distinct one.

Qualifications:

- Online portfolio with relevant work examples and writing examples

- 2-5 years of experience, ideally in a creative/content/social agency environment

- Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in English, communications or creative writing

- Strong social, digital and conceptual abilities


- Proven track record of successfully executing CRM campaigns, spanning both digital and print


- Candidate must have a willingness to work on a wide range of products for an organic tobacco brand—there will be months where your focus is primarily social and others where you’ll be concepting big brand platforms. Most important is flexibility and willingness to work on each assignment, no matter how big or small.
