POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Provide smart, engaging, on brand copy for customer facing materials across all channels and internal communications.

Ensure consistent and error-free execution in all vehicles.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create engaging and attention-getting copy that aligns to company's voice and overall brand vision.

Maintain consistency across all vehicles.

Partner with the Creative and Marketing Teams to develop outstanding seasonal campaign messaging.

Directly develop consumer-facing messaging for in-store signage, website and customer service documentation.

Provide support as needed for social media and emails.

Provide exciting and informative copy for internal employee communication.

Assist with copy proofing and reviews for error-free execution. Complete special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field; equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Minimum of three years as a copywriter in an in-house retail or agency environment.

Exceptional writing skills and technical aptitude and an attention to detail.

Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to navigate tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.

Mac proficient with the ability to work with Excel, Google Docs, PowerPoint and Acrobat.

Basecamp experience a plus.

Ability to deliver appropriate and effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
