Job description
Our agency client is growing and looking to add a Copywriter to their team full time. In this role you will be responsible for creating engaging content for various collateral, including direct mail, social media, and advertising. You will also be responsible for ensuring copy is aligned with brand standards and guidelines.
Copywriter Responsibilities:
· Write creative, effective copy for a variety of projects and business partners
· Deliver complete, error-free copy formatted in standardized copy template
· Effectively present and clearly communicate creative concepts internally
· Follow relevant brand guidelines for copy style, tone of voice, and target audience
· Participate and contribute in creative brainstorms and collaborative work with the Creative Team
· Remain current on emerging trends, implement design best practices, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance campaign metrics and performance
· Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop creative concepts and continually develop innovative campaigns
· Ensure the brand voice comes through clearly and consistently across every part of the customer journey
· Work closely with copyeditors to maintain all copy standards throughout projects
· Understand business partner objectives and apply them to copy
Requirements:
- Previous agency experience (3-5 years) as a copywriter with a focus on concepting
- Experience with a range of digital platforms from social to video campaigns
- Great presentation skills, both internally and client-facing
- An appreciation for the relationship between textual and visual elements
- Ability to write professionally in a variety of styles for diverse audiences
