Our client is a performance minded sports brand. 

Creative Lead Overview:

The Creative Design Lead must be passionate about both sports and maintain a strong knowledge base around the sports marketplace. Working under the guidance of the Brand Marketing Manager, this person will own all productions within the organization for print, digital, structural and various other categories of design deliverables translating global direction to regional marketing activation needs.

Creative Lead Responsibilities:

· Oversee the applications of brand standards across category and business units in partnership with Brand Marketing Manager

· Direct all phases of creative work from concept through production required for category/product activation with strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs

· A strong working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process

· Advanced experience managing the creative development process in brand support role · Comprehensive awareness and interest in new platforms and technologies for the digital channel (e.g. Flash, Flex, Ajax, etc.) and related mediums

· Ability to articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices to teams/leadership

· Provide leadership and direction for onsite and offsite project based resources; including agencies, designers, copywriters, photographers, editors and printers

· Direct all outputs to deliver a premium consumer experience including collateral, signage, POP, merchandising and any other brand components at the point of sale

· Develop the approach to layout design and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video, sound, etc. to determine if it conforms to standards and specifications

· Creative thinking that translates to business-minded leadership

· Collaborate with internal clients to determine objectives, budget and background in order to develop presentation approaches, styles and techniques

· Ensure all projects are on budget and on time; production support and other duties as assigned

· Travel may be required 10% of the time

Creative Lead Qualifications 

• Undergrad degree in Fine Arts, graphic or other design related field

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience with existing portfolio demonstrating creative / design ability

• 2 years’ managerial experience preferred

• Advanced knowledge in the Mac platform, Adobe Creative Cloud, Keynote, PowerPoint

• Understanding of customer experience, brand management, marketing, advertising, and e-commerce

• Highly creative with ability to execute within layout, design, and print production methods

• Working knowledge of graphic design, photography and other design related brand applications

• Illustration and photography experience strongly preferred

• Keen eye for detail • Interest in social and cultural trends and fashions

• Strong presentation / communication skills, verbal and written

• Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills

• Time management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple overlapping tasks

• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure

• Highly motivated, adaptable and flexible

• Demonstrate ability to work both, independently and with team
