Position Summary:

The Customer Data Platform (CDP) Manager is responsible for managing the database, data insertions and supporting all related software endpoints and integration requirements.

You have the opportunity to significantly scale and affect the customer data and customer engagement / CRM strategy. You should be creative and analytical with large data sets from multiple data sources.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and scale customer data platform with multiple integration endpoints.
  • Work with stakeholders on all requirements including but not limited to technology, security, compliance, digital marketing, customer and field marketing and retail media.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customers across multiple brands.
  • Manage customer data collection and analysis including but not limited to all online and offline sources.
  • Work with Analytics & Technology team stakeholders to manage tagging systems requirements and understand how they impact data, insights and analytics.
  • Deliver complex customer analytics projects from start to finish, providing actionable data insights to stakeholders with key takeaways and recommendations.
  • Lead any post-mortem analysis on campaigns and project initiatives to measure engagements, action, outcomes, learnings, sales effectiveness, return on ad spend (ROAS), and return on investment (ROI).
  • Support CRM initiatives including integrations, segmentation, activations, list management.
  • Continuously monitor data inputs from data warehouse/data sharing tools and outputs to end users, ensuring methodologies and practices do not fall outside of company and industry standards.
  • Ability to write advanced SQL queries and work with other developers as needed.
  • Manage data roadmap and requirements to advance real-time, cross-channel and personalization use-cases.
  • Create processes with cross-functional partners to effectively execute analytic insights.
  • Experience with advanced experiment design and optimization.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or computer science related fields such as Communications, Marketing and Advertising, Business/Economics or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of documented customer data platform (CDP) experience, preferably working with one of the leading industry customer data platforms, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Tealium is a NICE TO HAVE *
  • Minimum 5 years of customer engagement marketing, customer relationship marketing (CRM), email marketing, and related KPI analysis.
  • Previous experience in database design, architecture, database marketing and direct experience with a CDP & CRM system and projects is required.
  • Strong technology, analytics and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in data visualization/reporting tools in Power BI and Google Data Studio.
  • Advanced SQL query experience and ability to document such during a live interview.
  • Experience with related tools to structure SQL queries as well as extract and manipulate data in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Ability to review large amounts of data and provide strategic and actionable inferences and recommendations based on patterns and trends.
