At our client, they recognize that education is a foundational and important first step in removing unconscious bias to steward a culture of belonging, and individual growth and development. We also recognize that we have an opportunity to provide foundational and immersive learning experiences that strengthen inclusive leadership in all employees. This is the aim of DEI Education. This is a 12 month contract that has potential to extend and possibly become full time. Expected to be onsite once safe.

Who They're Looking For

As a component of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Education team, this role collaborates with the business, Human Resources (inclusive of Learning & Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Business Partners) to create DEI .

What You'll Do

  • Manage operations for existing DEI educational programs, status updates, metric and analytics tracking, LMS administration, manage vendor partnerships to deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Establish a strong rapport with program participants and stakeholders, to build an encouraging environment and an effective program feedback loop. Includes regular touch-bases with program members, monthly meetings and surveys and analyzing feedback to inform improvements. Establishing qualitative and quantitative measures and processes.
  • Develop strong and unquestioning partnerships with key leaders (HR partners, Learning & Development, PMO, Diversity Equity Inclusion Business Partners external professional development partners, etc.) to maintain program success and operationalize program(s) in the business
  • Develop a communications plan and disseminate program communications (written and verbal) to all levels of program partners to keep all parties appropriately advised, and engaged
  • Develop critical metrics that are tied to DEI, DTI, program, and business goals, for program learning journeys, mentor program and elevated experiences
  • Drive and execute“elevated moments” that create emphasis around learning, development and/or program participant engagement
  • Manage tactical through strategic aspects of evolving or launching DEI educational programs, from LMS administration, program logistics, through innovative strategies that driving behavior change.
  • Create and implement an impactful “Capstone” experience to commemorate and close out program participant journey(s)
  • Stand-up in-scope new programs in partnership with DEI Education Director, based on objectives developed through feedback from partners (program participants, DEI leadership, managers, L&D, etc.)
  • Secure and manage contracts with external service providers
  • Build and manage annual program budget

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create communication and learning materials and related plans in support of the Director DEI Education strategy
  • Ability to conduct learning needs assessments and design and develop learning experiences that optimize behavior change in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Build key deliverables that can be leveraged through innovative tactics that engage and deliver against the DEI strategies and program outcomes
  • Perform detailed analyses of program data including metrics for learning, engagement, Training Needs and program readiness
  • Track effectiveness and learning behavior change assessments and activities on an on-going basis. 
  • Help establish and monitor KPI and completion metrics for Organizational Change activities and new learning programs to measure and monitor effectiveness, and behavior change
  • Develop and distribute regular and ad-hoc DEI related reports and project-related performance reports
  • Ability to plan, manage work and resources in a matrix environment working across projects and functions
  • Proven experience leveraging digital trends and applications to improve effectiveness of Organizational Change activities related to DEI
  • Utilize adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to optimize learning experiences
  • Build effective working relationships across the organization within geographies, functions and the program
  • Create presentation materials for SEC team members
  • Knowledge of, and experience using best practices, standardized frameworks, and tools/templates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field accredited university, or a combination of demonstrable experience, education and training.
  • 5-7 years minimum of relevant work experience including sophisticated project management, building robust project plans/workback plans (prefer human-centered projects over product-centered).
  • Experience building and managing project plans in project collaboration software (i.e. Smart Sheets, Miro, etc.).
  • Background in HR, L&D, or Managing and developing teams
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Apple Keynote
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build trust and influence with internal and external partners
