Job description

 Responsibilities: Woven Jackets and bottoms • Research and shops seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and trim • Create inspiration Mood Boards • Generate hand and Illustrator sketches including CAD’s • Produces detailed seasonal presentations • Creates style boards for area of responsibility, showing silhouette and color, fabric, print/pattern/embroidery options • Work with the graphic team to create print patterns, and embroidery layouts • Request fabric spec sheets and trim detailed sheets from vendors • Set up development pages and keep them update throughout the changes • Create tech packs in Full Circle for all styles each season and ensure they are maintained, organized, and accurate so that the samples are developed efficiently • Communicate promptly and daily with overseas vendors and internal teams • Attend critical meetings: Color/Mood, Sketch, Proto,Merch, Handover & Target fit • Work closely will all cross functional teams - Tech, PD, and Production • Attend all fittings with the technical team and help determine the appropriate fit and be responsible for giving aesthetic and visual input • Maintain the spec, fabric, and trim library • Maintain wash information for garment dye and washed fabrics • Send all comments for artworks and lab dips • Adhere to all Design calendar deadlines • Organize proto sample rack • Ensure that salesman samples are tagged with disclaimers • Assist with any special projects as needed • Be a team player
