Our client, a fashion brand is looking for a Digital Asset Manager to join their team!

Full time, direct hire
Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Hawthorne
Must be vaccinated
Fashion/beauty experience a plus!


The Digital Asset Manager will work as part of the Creative Team and will report to the Brand Creative Director. This role is responsible for image prep, management, trafficking, finishing, and publishing of digital imagery and postproduction work through to final delivery and partners closely with the Creative Services team on timing. This person supports and adheres to workflow, process, and timelines with quality / accuracy and applies retouching expertise up to and including campaign level as well as ecommerce images as directed. In addition, he/she/they will partner with the Creative team on asset organization and management, project timelines, and deliverable deadlines. 

Job Summary: The Digital Asset Manager will own all processes pertaining to image usage and tracking for all assets. They will be responsible for aligning the entire organization with access to all relevant internal and external digital content.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Creative leads to carry out and adhere to brand retouching standards, assuring consistency across all creative assets
• Efficient naming, storage, and maintenance of the usage rights of related files
• Manage all incoming assets, ensuring images meet quality standards before and after retouching
• Create, implement, and regularly improve the organization’s digital asset management platform
• Organize/manage entire final asset delivery pipeline from retouching/editing to uploading/distributing, while updating internal system(s) with any status updates as needed
• Drive imaging tasks ranging from light image retouching, color correction, color matching, file naming, file management, file delivery
• Apply proper metadata to all brand images
• Organize and maintain folder structure for collections of images on both the server and DAM tool and communicate file paths to creative team and merch team as needed
• Assist with trafficking of images to and from our 3rd party retouching resource; extremely attentive to detail and communicative with providing direction and feedback as required to the lead contact
• Tracking 3rd party retouching invoices and submitting for payment
• Work with Creative team on delivering image banks and images within designated deadlines
• Maintain quality control by checking and verifying all images against specifications and guidelines for accuracy before submitting for final delivery and ensuring that all information is correct
• Communicate frequently with Project Management team regarding deadlines and other specifications, always managing expectations
• Partner with Site Merchandising team to publish and QA images in advance of monthly collection launches

Required Skills:
• Must have minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an agency, production company, fashion brand or retail company
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Solid ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics or other tool, HTML/CSS, Asana or other project management tool and SEO Implementation
• Must be detail oriented meticulous and efficient and possess a keen eye for color and color correction/color matching
• Must maintain an extensive knowledge of best practices for image post-production and digital asset management as well as creative and digital retouching processes
• Must be self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, extremely organized with a demonstrated ability multi-tasking, prioritizing projects, and working into tight deadlines
• Able to maintain daily workload in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and shifting priorities as needed; remain flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities and with professionalism
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, and independently with little supervision
• Must work collaboratively and constructively on each project with others on the team including Project Manager, Production Coordinator, etc
• Candidate must be a proven facilitator of information, with exceptional communication and follow up skills and a keen sense of urgency
• Sharp attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Fashion/beauty experience is a plus
