Sales Manager overview:

Our client is a direct-to-consumer fine jewelry brand with two decades of demonstrated excellence expanding into the digital space. With an emphasis on incredible stones, shapes, and materials, our clients work captures a sense of uptown elegance infused with the dynamic energy of downtown.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious sales manager with a background in luxury fashion to join our team. In this role, you will work hand in hand with our Founder on every

aspect of the business, with a specialized focus on sales and branding. This role will not only act as a key client liaison, but will also assist in the planning and execution of private shopping events, coordinate with stylists, and collaborate on the creation of editorial content for use in marketing communications. Our ideal candidate is excited by the opportunity to invest in the development of a growing brand in a start-up setting.

 

Sales Manager Role and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Assist in the planning of a yearly trunk show calendar with a focus on identifying markets for new client acquisition and potential brand partners   
  • Own external communications with both clients and stylists, including individual sales messaging, personalized edits, and invites to trunk shows
  • Attend trunk shows both in NYC and occasionally in other major market
  • Collaborate with freelance partners to build monthly marketing newsletters and SMS
  • messaging that highlight brand priorities
  • Take an active role in the planning of seasonal editorial shoots for the brand in partnership with the Founder, including production, casting, and art direction
  •  Direct the creation of marketing assets, such as invites for events and activations with external brand partners
  •  Manage one full-time eCommerce Coordinator, plus relationships with all freelance and agency partners

 

Sales Manager Key Qualifications:

  •  Available to work in-person locally in Manhatta
  •  2-3 years experience in luxury fashion, preferably in a sales or marketing role
  • Previous experience working in fine jewelry a plus
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, or other adjacent programs preferred
  • Desire for and commitment to a true small-business team mentality
