Our client, a growing fitness and lifestyle brand is looking for a Digital Copywriter. This is a remote freelance position (40 hours a week) that has potential to go fulltime. Must work PST hours if located in another time zone.  

*Must have some experience with or passion for cycling.

Who we're looking for: An enthusiastic freelance copywriter with a knack for language who can help express our brand voice and explain the magic and benefits of our brand across various platforms. With a focus on eCommerce, CRM and Web, this role requires a copywriter that will know how to marry brand tone understanding and the ability to write concise and compelling product and service descriptions. Bonus points for people with experience writing for ecommerce and sales copy. What you'll do: Work with growth marketing, social, web, ecommerce, CRM and game teams to create communications that follow our brand voice. Ensure that initiatives are fully executed and carried successfully across multiple channels, with a heavy focus on digital. Add creative flair into technical or routine projects. What you’ll work on: Emails Web copy and landing pages Copy for digital advertising Product and features description In-game messaging Blogs & Social Posts Integrated campaign activations

What we're looking for: 3+ years experience as a copywriter, ideally from an in-house at a cycling or running company or a creative agency background. Experience working on multiple eCommerce, CRM and Web projects. A portfolio with headlines that stops us in our tracks. Body copy that’s clear, persuasive and smart. Impeccable grammar and spelling. (But you already knew that.) Passion for revealing and explaining the magic (or benefits) of tech products to the public. Creative writing experience across multiple mediums, especially digital. (Web, email, social, etc.) An interest in cycling and/or running is a big plus. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Editing and proofreading skills. Ability to report project status with project managers.
