Job Summary
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of digital strategies and marketing programs that deliver revenue, profit and market share goals for two popular, well established apparel brands in the lifestyle sector. This role supports the company’s strategic ecommerce objectives which
ensure long-term sustainable growth online for both brands. 


Performance Objectives 
• Oversight of all paid and owned digital marketing channels, including website, content-based
SEO/SEM, email, affiliate, organic social and paid media advertising campaigns that support
and achieve overall ecommerce strategic objectives. 
• Manage digital marketing agencies to implement channel strategies which achieve traffic and
ROI goals, within budgets established by the Director of E-Commerce. 
• Ensure effective utilization of digital marketing budgets, by allocating effectively to support
individual channel strategies and ROAS targets 
• Develop cohesive owned channel strategy in conjunction with overall paid strategy to
maximize owned channels value in marketing mix 
• Execute customer acquisition and retention strategies to ensure long-term sustainable
growth is achieved through both owned and paid channels 
• Develop and implement customer contact strategy and manage ongoing optimization of
customer journeys  


• Develop content strategy to support customer journey and contact strategy 
 
• Strategically execute and optimize marketing campaigns across channels that support
marketing calendar for promotional messaging, product campaigns, advertising campaigns
and brand messages 
 
 • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing channels and campaigns in
conjunction with the digital marketing agencies and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).

• Manage the Amazon agency for wholesale to ensure plans deliver against strategic
objectives to achieve annual revenue goals 


• Identify actionable trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights 


Other 
• Foster cross-departmental openness and cooperation with both brands 
Marketing teams 
• Conduct regular competitive analysis/research on other E-Commerce sites and stay current
on E-Commerce and fashion trends 
• Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers

Success Factors 

• Experience with profitably allocating digital marketing budgets of at least 1M.  
• Prior experience managing third party agency  
• Effective at building marketing strategies to support on site merchandising strategies

Minimum Qualification Requirements 
• Marketing or Business Degree or equivalent combination of education and business-related experience
• Minimum of 3 years of E-Commerce experience within apparel or retail industry.
• Experience in campaign planning and managing projects
• Analytical skills to generate innovative insights and communicate results effectively
• Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Positive mindset and strategic thinker
