Client Overview:

Our client is a well-known company creating immersive large scale event experiences across three large venues in New York. Operating year round, they are looking for a Digital Marketing Director to join their team and elevate their company.

 

Digital Marketing Director Overview:

As Digital Marketing Director, you will oversee all development and execution of paid media buying strategy.

 

The ideal candidate for Digital Marketing Director will have excellent leadership skills as they collaborate with Marketing Managers and Director of Brand Strategy to guide the team in accomplishing business objectives through paid media initiatives and driving ticket sales.

 

The role of Digital Marketing Director will report to Head of Marketing.

 

Digital Marketing Director Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute paid media campaigns aligned with overall media plans.
  • Oversee and manage budgets for paid media campaigns across all channels and platforms.
  • Run A/B testing for creatives on all paid media campaigns to optimize brand initiatives. 
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends across digital paid media including best practices and optimization strategies.
  • Establish accounts across important digital paid media platforms such as Facebook, Google AdWords, etc., maintaining and expediting access to necessary properties (i.e, artist pages).
  • Build custom audience definitions for necessary digital paid media platforms and maintain them across all channels.
  • Develop brand voice that follows brand guidelines for paid media campaigns, iterating as needed.
  • Create and maintain relationships with paid media vendors and partners across all platforms and channels.
  • Manage the budget and handle billing for ad spend for all paid media campaigns across all channels.
  • Generate detailed spend reporting addressing KPIs on a project-by-project basis for all digital paid media campaigns. 
  • Create omni-channel messaging calendars across all channels and platforms to align ad campaigns with social media content to drive engagement and coverage.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to ensure campaign support alongside announce process.
  • Work with agents and managers to streamline assets, advertiser access, and approvals.
  • Ensure ad task management is handled via Click-up.

Digital Marketing Director Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing role specializing in developing digital media buying strategy and data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams and providing guidance to drive results.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid media management and optimization.
  • Extensive experience in Google Analytics and SEO.
  • Experience in developing social media strategy and working with marketing technology tools including social listening.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ad functions on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads, etc).
  • Proficient in Asana, Google Docs, Click Up, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM/ data management and marketing automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
