Job description

Our client is in the food/dessert space and is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team. This will be full time and have a hybrid schedule, which will require 2 days onsite in their Woodland Hills office. 

Duties::
• Develop, test, evaluate and launch new and updated digital marketing programs that increase revenue
• Work collaboratively with Marketing team to drive department’s goals
• Assist in marketing brainstorms for national marketing campaigns intended to increase sales and brand awareness
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure company goals are achieved
• Draft memos, creative briefs, rollout packs, webinars, and franchisee communication, as needed

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
• Social Media
o Work with Director of Marketing to develop monthly content calendar
o Create monthly franchisee guide. Includes local and national posts, copy, posting dates, etc.
o Be up to date on the latest social media trends, hashtags, etc. and make ongoing recommendations for increased engagement, likes and followers.
o Add monthly social posts to Hootsuite
o Monitor national social media pages for guest comments
o Work collaboratively with social media agency on UGC
o Create national ads, track and analyze data, as needed
• Email Marketing
o Plan monthly email schedule eblasts, and copy
o Test and schedule national emails, and opt-in emails
o Identify new opportunities for email. Research and add new features to our emails such as animation, ticker countdowns, etc.
o Pull and analyze data at end of month
o Make best practice recommendations for increasing our CTR
• App / Push Notifications
o Create, test and schedule national push notifications
o Create local pushes for franchisees and upload them to our app portal
o Analyze push notifications
o Assist in brainstorming and launching new features to our app and loyalty program
o Assist with franchisee app issues, troubleshooting bugs with our app agency, etc.
• Website
o Oversee monthly updates including adding new flavors and toppings to site, uploading new website banners, copy, etc.
o Update pop-up code for new pop-ups
o Update any web pages as needed
o Pull and analyze data at end of month
o Ad monthly keywords to Website, delete old keywords
o Make best practice recommendations for increasing our CTR

Requirements
• Must be digitally savvy, and have experience with Facebook, Instagram, Stories, Reels, Twitter, TikTok, Hootsuite, GIFs, and Salesforce.
• A positive attitude and work well under pressure.
• Ability to meet deadlines a must.
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Excellent communicator, writer, and creative thinker with an ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
• Minimum of 4 years of digital marketing experience.
