Title: UX Director
Our client is a Fortune 500 fintech company providing investment management, insurance and retirement planning globally. They are seeking to hire a UX Director to work on new and existing mobile and web products while working closely with the design systems team.Main responsibilities:
-Manage large volume and provide senior oversight and presence with senior leadership teams
-Direct and lead design across a broad list of stakeholder to ensure adoption of the the design system and consistency in execution.
-Analyze issues within experiences and identify root causes for issue.
-Understand customer needs and identify where separate interactions should come together as one that meets that need
-Understand the core Human-Centered, Design Thinking framework of an experience and lead the design of targeted improvements to that framework that accommodates new and improved process refinements
-Create and rapidly iterate interactive prototypes in accordance with task, scenario and journey
-Put forward new cases for designs improvements and optimization based on insights and new trends
-Communicate with detailed design and industry backed decisions and be able to represent all experience touch-points
-Strategically engage and align with technology, marketing and product stakeholders
-Run and lead active collaborative workshops
-Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvement within an existing service
-Clearly identify and document Design goals tied to business and customer outcomes.
-Document UX / CX risks to build cases to promote change
-Understands and communicate UX metrics and KPI's
Skills and experience:
-8+ years in a senior level or equivalent experience design role
-Combination of agency and corporate environment experience and or FinTech experience a plus.
-Uses a systems approach to design
-Mature experience sketching, mapping, documenting, prototyping strategic customer experience approaches and processes
-Solid understanding of Information Architecture, taxonomy, language and content matrixes
-Demonstrable experience of explaining design ideas and concepts in a way that people of different backgrounds can understand
-Demonstrable experience of how to interpret qualitative and quantitative research
-Understand the possibilities and limitations current vs future experience outcomes
-Working collectively and autonomously with cross-functional teams
-A design related degree or relevant experience in designing products and services
-Excellent ability to translate reports, outputs and outcomes into compelling written presentations
-Work in lean and or agile environments
