Position: Director of ECommerce and Media Services
Client Overview: Is a full-service strategic eCommerce agency hiring a Director of ECommerce and Media Services.They are an extension of a larger media agency working across a variety of brands.
Location: Remote (PCT)
Clients: some client's you may work on include Hershey's, Petco, and a hard water brand (not disclosed)
What You’ll Do
Digital Media Strategy – 40%
-Craft eCommerce media strategy and role of media in the path to purchase. Create the high-level ecommerce media sciences plans as well as retail media plans and attribution models.
-Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals
-Oversee and support the Media Sciences Specialist who will be negotiating, buying, optimizing, reporting and operationalizing the media buys.
Data Intelligence – 40%
-Help create data informed intellectual property of both media and shopping metrics across each of the platforms that we are advertising on so that we have a proprietary understanding of the Omni-Commerce path to purchase.
- Build cross-channel analytics and insights offerings.
- Build client-specific solutions that inform campaign performance and drive institutional knowledge.
- Develop clear and concise dashboarding that will deliver information in an intelligent and digestible manner
Reporting & Analysis - 20%
-Monitor and report on media campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams, media partners and the client
-Responsible for providing data for dashboards/Excel trackers, as needed by account, ensuring accuracy and validity of data shown
-Proven track record identifying on-going opportunities to productize revenue generating analytic and media solutions and sell into internal and external clients
-Expert in negotiating and constructing digital media plans, with understanding of planning, buying and activation
-Expert in developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects, acting as a client contact
-Expert in eRetailer (Walmart, Target, Kroger), marketplaces (Amazon, Instacart) and retailer media (Criteo, Ibotta)
-Strong knowledge of DoubleClick/DART, MediaMind, Omniture and Google Analytics
