OVERVIEW:
Our client is looking for an experienced CRM/Retention Marketing Director with a passion and proven experience in developing strategies and delivering performance in digital retained customer channels. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing insights-driven and highly engaging push marketing strategies and campaigns with alignment to large-scale cross-channel marketing strategies and drive repeat visits and usage of our client's platforms and products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define, maintain, and evolve the overall campaign strategies in retention marketing channels (email, push notifications, SMS, loyalty, etc.) focused on the acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Develop strategies that balance driving users back to True Religion platforms.
• Accountable for the execution of all email marketing campaigns from ideation and development of content with the Site and Growth Marketing teams to audience targeting, testing, and deployment.
• Accountable for the development and execution of a new loyalty program from ideation and development of benefits, content, and CLTV. • Identify targeting and messaging conflicts that arise during the planning process and provide a clear path forward for resolution or mitigation.
• Operational and Technical Knowledge
• Stay up to date with industry best practices for email and SMS deliverability and communication experience, loyalty programs, and emerging retention channels.
• Partner with Site and Growth Marketing Team to develop cohesive go-to-marketing strategies for retention marketing channels.
• Work with cross-functional teams (channel owners, Marketing Operations, Creative, Merchandising, and Planning, etc.) to develop performance-driven email campaigns and optimize existing email flows to maximize conversions, support media revenue plan, and engagement in retention marketing communications
• Lead and develop marketing specialist on retention marketing channel execution and optimization.
• Work with Senior Director and Senior Vice President to host regular strategic/operational meetings with brand/creative team to align on upcoming campaigns and provide data and trends to drive optimization.
• Identify any CRM platform and data execution improvements and tool requirements and work with cross-functional teams to get enhancements.
• Develop, manage, monitor, and report performance on all flows and campaigns.
• Design ongoing A/B test strategies for all aspects of the push marketing strategy (subject lines, copy, frequency, time of day/week, etc.) and communicate the results of these tests through monthly reporting.
• Effectively strategize performance through insight-led segmentation, campaign planning, testing, and result in analysis

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 8+ years of experience in developing strategic campaigns, working with integrated marketing, creative, and other marketing channel owners to execute large-scale consumer campaigns.
• 8+ years’ experience in CRM platforms and tools and digital marketing service providers/services for execution, analytic tools for reporting and analysis
• 8+ years of digital marketing experience with campaign analysis and optimization
• 8+ years’ experience in developing, deploying, and evolving meaningful loyalty programs and experiences.
• Experience with leading-edge eCommerce segmentation methodologies and their respective role in marketing communications
• Forward-thinking, marketing/business development-focused individual with a solutions-forward approach
• 5+ years of detailed task planning and execution experience in highly promotional retail eCommerce
• Understanding of eCommerce content management processes, including direct experience with site, web apps, email, and loyalty program tools and technologies
• Experience working in DTC/B2C and/or B2B a must; retail fashion marketing experience a plus
• Ability to independently manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Growth mindset, passion for bringing creativity to the direct-to-consumer marketing process
