Job Summary
• In order to amplify our incredible brand in the US and Canada, we are hiring an experience Director of Growth to drive significant incremental revenue through qualified traffic across all of the brands digital channels, including ecommerce, mobile app, social, and online retailer platforms, such as Amazon.
• You will be responsible for identifying and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition strategies across a range of digital marketing channels.
• You will develop the strategic plan, use analytics to inform decisions, and drive execution to optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals.
• The ideal candidate will know how to build & scale complex marketing campaigns across the consideration and purchase funnel, has worked with Product and Analytics Teams to drive growth, has demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple teams to achieve results and is able to clearly communicate complex data to strategic stakeholders.
• You will work closely with the VP of Digital & Customer Experience, making sure that we are approaching growth thoughtfully without sacrificing the experience of our customers or the brand equity.
• You will be responsible to set best practices not only for the North American Team, but our global company, and scale those best practices through automation across all of our growth marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Display, Online Video, Affiliate). This role also allows you to shape the marketing tech stack to help the brand deploy advertising budget in a continuously optimized manner.
• You will have direct exposure to the Executive Team in region and HQ. (Position can be based either from Manhattan (NYC) or Rye Brook, NY, hybrid work schedule)

Key Responsibilities
• This is a career defining role to scale the brand 10x from a beloved premium Italian coffee brand in its origin market to the wider North American audience establishing the brand as the authority on coffee in the US & Canada.
• Plan, build, and execute a strategic cross-channel playbook for demand generation by owning qualified audience growth across all stages of the funnel, in particular acquisition, conversion, retargeting (i.e., the right platforms, with the right messaging, to the right audiences).
• Lead the performance-side of our media plan with ROI goals (virality, influencer programs, UGC contests, and referral programs) to specifically grow the brands upper funnel partnering with PR, Creative, Brand, & Content.
• Proactively assess and optimize digital marketing mix in a quick-changing competitive landscape.
• Work along with our creative team on brand assets and copy for performance and organic campaigns, own the A/B testing strategy to further optimize our customer experience and business performance.
• Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, Analytics, and Product Teams to test, measure and understand the effectiveness of growth initiatives to further improve our acquisition spend efficiency.
• Own the marketing tech stack and manage budget, co-lead the implementation, and derive new digital programs utilizing the new technology to its highest impact. Maintain and monitor key metrics across channels including budget pacing, LTV, CAC, ROI, etc.

Qualifications
• Minimum BA or BS degree and +8 years of relevant experience in performance & acquisition marketing for consumer facing companies in an ecommerce environment.
• A post graduate degree, an MBA preferred
• Experience with marketplaces, online retailers, and subscription programs
• Led social commerce strategies
• Managed the growth strategy for multi-brand company
• Hands-on experience with Amazon vendor central
• Experience in writing SQL queries, should say preferred
• Able to think strategically as a growth lead, and understand long term impact on the business, and also can execute as an individual contributor to quickly test new assumptions
• Deeply care about building a company for the long-run on growth, product, ethics, and community
• At least 3 years of people management experience
• Managed and optimized SEM, SEO, Display, Paid Social, and Retargeting campaigns
• Owned and managed marketing budgets before with a track record of pacing spend in accordance with revenue targets and other goals (CAC, CPL, retention, etc.)
• Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPL, CPA, CPC, LTV)
• Deep familiarity with web & app tracking and attribution (Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics, Content Square, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with platforms (Google AdWords platform, Facebook Business Manager) with a deep understanding of the technical aspects (platform attribution, pixels, app attribution, APIs)
