Fast Growing Beauty Brand in LA is seeking a Director of Marketing!

 

SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing serves as a true advocate for our brand identity, leading the charge on all marketing and communication efforts. This role develops and executes all strategies, assets and creative content, social platforms, community engagement and coordinates cross functionally to ensure cohesiveness and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy

• Serve as the brand voice and provide brand oversight

• Create, implement and support marketing strategies based on company goals

• Develop campaigns and themed messaging around new product launches

• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive branding across all touchpoints including packaging, copy, assets, email, social media, ecommerce, fixtures, customer service, etc.

• Review industry innovations and trends and routinely perform market and competitor analysis

• Proactively communicate progress, concerns and solutions to keep efforts on target and in budget Consumer Engagement [Digital / Social / Public Relations]

• Manage social media and PR agencies, providing brand oversight, direction, and priorities

• Responsible for all content and assets, handling approval processes for copy, content, email, SMS, website, communications, assets, imagery, and ads

• Perform ongoing analysis of performance, social analytics and growth rates

• Coordinate influencer efforts including seeding list, partnership approvals and direction

• Responsible for copy across all touchpoints including the overseeing of translations Content Management [Content / Talent]

• Inform creative direction and oversee artwork • Organize and maintain library of digital assets, photography, videos, etc

• Plan and oversee all photoshoots for talent, model, lifestyle, product, social, and ecommerce, including shot lists, contracts, agreements, bookings, crew, casting, and production

• Coordinate with talent and reps for approvals, content, messaging, interviews, social and calendar Product Marketing

• Create Product Category Strategy including skincare, color cosmetics, hair, fragrance, accessories, etc.

• Provide Pricing Strategy and COGS management

• Assist with Brand Collateral to support retailers

• Support Packaging design, including direction, artwork, approvals, dielines, and range boards

• Develop, execute and manage Sampling Strategy for retailers, PR and social team

 

MUST be able to work on site full time and live in LA!!
