Director of Merchandising and Brand Experience Role:
You will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and maintaining all aspects of merchandising, field services, and retailer partnerships in order to establish a strong retail image and standards to ultimately drive the business.
By fulfilling the main mission of this role, you will contribute to the 5 pillars of strategy: people-centric, brand-builder, consumer-obsessed, digitally minded, and committed to responsible beauty. In this role, you will need to be passionate, audacious, engaged, collaborative and respectful on a daily basis. Being digitally minded is key in all roles as well. A passion for our brands, our history and our products is essential in this role.
-Responsible for creating, monitoring, and maintaining all aspects of merchandising, field services, merchandising budget and retailer partnerships in order to establish a strong brand retail image and standards to ultimately drive the business.
-Work with merchandisers and sales team to ensure the brand’s in-store image is strong, homogeneous and properly maintained within the guidelines described by HQ.
-Service the field with information regarding the brand and at-counter and in-store execution.
-Manage project from start to finish by partnering with retailer, Sales, Creative and Marketing.
-Drive digital innovation, implementation, audits and special projects with regards to Yoobic (Digital Merchandising Tool) in partnership with digital merchandiser, sales, sales ops, creative and Marketing.
Director of Merchandising and Brand Experience Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in design
-8-10 years of related experience
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Excellent budget management
-Demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation in all interactions
-Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example
-Multi-tasker & ability to meet deadlines and drive projects
-Position requires the ability to work independently and as a team player
-Ensure that a professional image is portrayed at all times
