Our retail client is looking for a Director of Site Merchandising & Optimization to join their team!

About The Role:

-In this role you will drive a best-in-class online customer experience. This work includes owning and defining the content experience on site, running key features that drive site conversion and managing the team responsible for setting up categories, site assets and promotions on site.

-This role will own key site metrics and analysis of site features to help develop strategies and recommendations to further optimize and drive the business.

-You'll work cross functionally with the Brand Marketing, Merchandising and Product teams to bring the best customer experience to life.

Responsibilities:

-Match the Merchandising and Brand Marketing vision for launching campaigns, with the required site templates, products, and experience required to ensure on delivery and strong CX

-Lead the team in setup for site content (homepage, landing pages, category banners, promotions and other ad hoc creative asset execution on the site)

-Build landing pages for new product launches, marketing campaigns and weekly emails

-Partner with Brand Marketing on website content generation and maximize return through testing, site optimization, UI/UX and improving online customer experience Develop SEO site management strategy and execution.

-Review SEO reports, drive optimization efforts on the site, developing business requirements for engineering work

-Planning & testing of new features and functionality on the website

-Monitor performance, and propose continuous improvements along key metrics such as traffic, conversion, order value, returns and cancellation

-Leader in defining key features and functions to drive the business, partner with product & engineering as the work is built and launched, support all business aspects of launching features (content, copy, business rules) run and optimize features post launch (includes international, size features, returns features)

-Optimizing key digital products & merchandising features on the site including, filters, search, product recommendations.

-Analyze, make recommendations & implementation

-Manage a team of Site Merchandisers

Requirements:

-Detail oriented, self starter who is a naturally curious person

-Ability to think strategically, drive for results, build a high-performance team and continuously drive innovation

-Strong planning, project management and interpersonal skills

-Problem solver with the capacity to translate analytic data into strategic ideas

-Years of related professional experience:

7+ years  Experience working in the eCommerce industry

-A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years general management experience in the Retail Merchandising field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
