Notes: They are looking for a senior Paid Search person who has had some supervision of others and is client facing. This candidate also needs to have experience working with healthcare clients. This person should be channel agnostic and be able to pivot to various channels depending upon what works best and be able to work "cross channel"

Job Description:
aid Search Director is responsible for overseeing paid search capability. The Director is responsible for shaping the discipline and delivering best in class service and client performance. You will partner with internal teams to drive profitable outcomes for our clients, keeping up to date with industry trends. The expectation is that this person will be an expert at optimizing and analyzing campaigns for multiple client accounts and managing/building search team capabilities.

The Technical Expertise We're Looking For:

Ability to develop strategy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders and is accountable for the execution of strategy and achievement of KPIs
Advanced understanding and operation of platform technologies in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

Oversee all aspects of the platform buying capability and direct reports (minimum of 2)

Become a trusted partner and collaborator with key client and internal stakeholders

Efficiently and effectively manage the time and efficacy of internal and external deliverables

Ability to liaise with clients and be an effective contributor to strategic discussions across clients

Deliver thought leadership and updates to key partners in a relatable, concise manner

Clearly articulate the performance of digital marketing channels in performance reviews

Ultimate accountability for pacing and managing account budgets

Work closely with MarTech capability to demonstrate the value of paid channels against Organic

Prepare presentations and recommendations, and be comfortable sharing with the clients and internal team

Educate, mentor and grow more junior members of our team (2), leading by example through proactive communication and time management

Converts client’s vision into feasible plans for realizing those visions

Identifies all the important insights/can summarize key takeaways after an important meeting

Excludes all unimportant insights

Accurately assesses the relative importance of the important insights

Communicates the important insights clearly and succinctly

Identifies implications of insights for future work

Understands and can re-articulate provided instructions

Completes assignments comprehensively (i.e., does everything asked of them)

Completes assignments at an acceptable quality level for someone of their tenure

Completes assignments on time

Makes suggestions for how to improve or add to their work

Key Competencies:

8+ years of specific experience in paid search, healthcare and financial services a plus

Specialist level knowledge of paid platforms including, but not limited to Google, Microsoft Ads

Is a team player and can collaborate well with others

Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team

Extremely organized with high attention to detail

Proactive and resourceful

Must be an excellent cultural fit – high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation

Expresses oneself (in writing and verbally) clearly, concisely, and thoroughly
