ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The eCommerce Manager will help grow the direct-to-consumer business and digital marketing initiatives on our own website, Amazon and other third-party retail sites. This role is responsible for achieving topline revenue goals by using technical problem-solving skills combined with business acumen.
• Define eCommerce DTC strategy to support growth targets including planning, assortment strategy, performance marketing investment, UX, site operations, forecasting and reporting our owned and 3rd party platforms
• Ensure product assortment is effectively represented and continually optimized across e-commerce platforms, including content, imagery, keywords, and search optimization
• Manage merchandising for new product launches, promotional support, seasonal campaigns, and personalization efforts
• Work with agency partners to develop campaigns and measure success, analyzing purchase data to reach shoppers across retail partner websites
• Oversee the ongoing management of CRM retention programs, leading all aspects of the subscription and loyalty
• Partner with Ops/Supply Chain to manage inventory forecasting and planning
• Partner with Sales and third party retail.com teams to ensure product/pricing strategy alignment and support cross-brand collaborations, promotions, and other activations
• Support Sales by analyzing data, sharing actionable insights and supporting business reviews with key customers teams
• Monitor account health, performance, and resolve issues that may arise including order fulfillment and customer service
• Develop, maintain, and continually improve performance dashboarding of key performance drivers, providing insights on results, trends, and opportunities
• Work cross-functionally to initiate and drive organizational improvements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 3+ years of DTC eCommerce experience
• Must have at least 1 year experience with Amazon’s Vendor and Seller Central
• Experience managing Amazon Ads a plus
• Strong business acumen with understanding of forecasting and sales analysis
• Strong understanding of retention drivers and LTV analysis
• Experience across eCommerce platforms and enabled apps (Shopify and Recharge experience a plus)
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, HotJar, and similar analytics tools required
• Experience in Klaviyo, Iterable or other email marketing software desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to craft presentations for senior leadership
• Proficient in data analytics to determine important data and be able to suggest improvements
• Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
